Hello everyone. I want as many suggestions as possible, because I can't think of whats best. My Mach just doesn't seem as fast as when I first drove it around, I don't feel that "Pull" anymore. With $2000, what do you guys think I should do to get that great "Pulling" acceleration feeling back?

DOHC's love steep gears, I'd say get 4.10's, nitrous, and dr's at the least. Or save up a couple grand more and get the new turbo kit from PTI.

If you can do the work yourself i'd say full exhaust w/ lts, gears, and control arms...you should still have some left over for beers for the weekend install

Save your money for a rear end or a short block honestly. I heard HEARD that those Mach 1s short blocks can't hold to much power. With slicks a lot of people blow rear ends on those cars.

I know it won't make your car faster but when your friends are blowing there motors or rear ends you'll totally say it was worth buying.

I'll also agree with Zinc03GT, only I'd use the Bassani Mid Length headers because they're easier to install, are more ground clearance friendly, and you can still get the tranny out if you should need to w/o removing the headers. 4.30s may SOUND really steep, but if I had to do it all over again, I'd of sure used them versus the 4.10s in my 5-speed 2k3 GT. . .

Do you have an auto or manual, is there ANYTHING done to it?

Personally, I'd say you're not far AT ALL from a supercharger kit, especially if you could get lucky enough to find a new one. I'm not sure if its possible, but it'd be cool if you could fit one of the stock take off blowers from the highly modded 03-04 Cobras onto your Mach

Gimme so more info, and let us know what you're looking for, THEN I'll throw my suggestions out there

Gears, Tires, beef up the rearend, mid-pipe, catback, K&N and shifter. You'll be in the 12's easy with that.

CDC has a Mach1 with a 03 Cobra engine and blower with the shaker on top. I'm not sure if they had to make special brackets for the shaker though. Anyone know?

Decoy, anything can work with a lil fabrication and ingenuity

I'm still wondering if this car is an auto or a 5-speed.

But yes, 4.30 gears in a 6-speed, or 4.10s in an auto with a nice 3K+ stall

Send the 2k to me so I can blow it on booze and strippers..

Seriously, full exhaust, 4.10's or 4.30's with a 31 spline built rearend. LCA's, tokico 5-ways and new springs. What you'll have there is a very quick car, with more aggressive stance and ready for the track.
