These are Kooks, which use a true ceramic coating They're a lot heavier and better built than the Mac's, but then again, the cost about twice as much too. The Macs use an HTS paint on coating which usually flakes off within a couple of months. same principal, but the Macs are far less durable. The LT's aren't necessarily any louder, but will give off a little deeper tone. The ultimate deciding factor as to how loud your exhaust is going to be, will depend on everything after the headers. If you’re planning to go with a Mac O/R H-pipe along with their Flowpath cat-back, then yeah, it’s gonna be a pretty mean sounding system. The drone will likely drive you nuts at highway speeds though, so keep that in mind.
