68 has a 350 in it now built by a speed shop in the 80s that sat for years with an automatic in it
Has pedals for a clutch and was a 4 speed car. Friend bought it and promptly burnt up the TH350 Stall speed slap shift
Took that out and now has a M21 4 speed with a 11 inch clutch
I bought the car from him after he lost interest, and he has another 69
I bought a 427 blower motor for it yesterday
Not sure of the pistons in it
I did not know it was a blower motor until standing in his garage full of Corvettes buying it
I had just planned on a conventional normally aspirated build for this one
He gave me a ton of expensive parts for it like a gear drive and gasket sets
What should I do? (easy fellow Ford boys, I'm not junking it)

I think you have the wrong forum. This site is for/about Mustangs, not Camaros.

He did post it under "other auto tech"
And it does qualify as "other"
I doubt he wants my opinion, even though he asked.

If it were me and I were putting money into it? Hmm....

I would resto-mod the drivetrain, brakes, and suspension.
Get good looking [used] replacements for the pieces that are missing.
Redo the interior.
Cancel any body rust and clear coat the entire thing like it is.

A project like this is what I'd put an LSx conversion into like the ones we talked about [over there]

I don't like the 68' Body style, so I tend to avoid them and the like.
Now, if it was a 69' Camaro, I could get on board with that.
1969 was THE year for Muscle Car style for every manufacturer.
The 69' Mustang is to die for
The 69' Cuda/Challenger/Charger were tits.
And the 69" Camaro is the only good looking Camaro that GM ever made.

This option!!!,
But seriously folks,
OK maybe not
No, REALLY, I'd find out the specs on the engine, just because they 'built it for boost' doesn't mean it's not a stout runner, likely just added stuff (hopefully) for durability.
Now there is an appearance the rear is cleaned up, what gear?
I don't know much about the difference between a 67-8 or 9 and don't care, anything in good shape from the 60's pony car years are hot, ooorrrr sell engine and trans stuff, grab a LS and a 6 speed, stuff it in and ride.
May depend on how much you like the car.
i still like nickybs' offer.
Oh, get it in writing

Bought it / stole it really
Gave the guy 20k after he paid me 5 to put the Muncie in it
Right side up so far, into it about 33k with the 12 bolt, the Muncie and the 427
The motor was in a rear engine dragster with a blower on it
Pulled the heads today Closed chamber 113cc 3931063
Pulling the flattop pistons tomorrow ,060 bores look good
I will do everything but the paint not must
I have owned 2 69s and it was time for a 68
Really wanted a wing window 67 but this is the one I found
Try buying one of these, you can get hosed. I see 67s, 68s and 69s going for 65k around here

After talking again with the guy that sold me the 427
It looks like it has 454 pistons in it as the compression height is wrong for a 427
He also did not have the blower motor in a rear engine dragster, it was in a speed boat
He had the rear engine dragster and his buddy he got the blower motor from had it in a speed boat
Here are some piston pics, and yes, they were cheap cast pistons .060 over 4.310 bore, around 8 to 1 with the .115" deck clearance
