what should my next mod be????

I just got done installing an eaton m90 blower, mac h pipe, ture duals, and am wondering what should I do next on my 98 automatic. First chip, then shift kit? or new ignition or what? Any imput would be great. And I have pics of all current progress comming soon.

Don't over-gear that puppy. With the roots blower making so much low end tq, too much gear will leave you doing nothing but spinning.

A chip from Justin would get you up and running pretty well until you can get to a dyno. Dont waste money on any ign upgrades beyond new plugs. Wires are okay, but are pretty much a looks only mod. Definitely read up on the Jerry-Mod for your tranny.

So I should get it tuned instead. I think I will do just that. I have never done a dyno before and can't wait to see what numbers show up. Should I still get the shift kit? Iheard it improves the tranny life a little? And one more thing with my ac on it wants to idle at 500!! any thoughts on why??Timing maybe????

Get the TransGo shift kit, and go with the stiffer second gear shift. Read up on the Jerry mod, but skip all the drilling into the plates and valve body as that is what the shift kit does.

I'd also go with 4.10 gears and a posi / T-Lok.

Skip the chip and do what was suggested in a Dyno tune instead.

Can't help you on the AC idling problem, sorry.

A decent tuner (or chip) can bump your idle up a little.

Go with a SCT based dyno tune and J-mod the tranny. DO NOT get a shift kit.

What is the"J mod" or "Jerry mod?" Sounds like it is somthing that I should do but I have no idea what it is. But the dyno tune is a must now for sure. Thanks please explain
