I just got a cobra intake and I want to know what size TB to go with. Its a 87 w/ SD. It has Mac headers, O/R Hpipe, flows, & 4:10 gear. Since my valve covers are leaking, Im going to replace them as well and add 1.7 RRs also. What size TB would you guys go with?? 65? 70? 75? Ive always heard bigger is better......most of the time. Lemme know!! Thanks!!

70mm, its a good jump from stock. i dont see the logic in swaping to a 65mm as its only 7mm bigger, not much of a difference. if your going to get a TB, GET !a TB! lol

if the 70 is too big it wont matter. wont affect performance at all it will just make the gas touchier, and if u plan to mod it more you will grow into the TB later on.

good luck

A 65mm throttle body will flow plenty, just get one of the more renowned companies - Accufab, Edelbrock, Holley, etc.

A 70mm won't be a big difference at all and will go well with that stroker you do later:D

The larger mm throttle body you get, the touchier your gas pedal will be...

If you like that...get a 'big' one. Don't expect more horsepower, it won't happen...good luck!

The 'big one' could go well with a supercharger later though!
