What size tire?

I am looking into buying some black bullitts and the ones I saw are only 8 inches wide. I was wondering what is the biggest tire I could fit on a rim that size.

i wouldn't go more than 275 on a 8" rim. i have 18x9" rims and i think 285 is as wide as looks good on that, so 275 on an 8"er sounds right to me.

275 is too wide for that rim. Best performance size for 8" is a 255. A 275 will fit, but I think the performance will be degraded due to the excessive sidewall stretch.
