what sizq bolts to remove driveshaft

as title states what size are they... also anyone have some good tips on how to remove them for the first time?

Pretty sure they are 10mm (12 point). Get a long screw driver and push clock wise while pushing counter clock wise to remove the bolts.

they are 12mm (12 point) I use the racheting wrench to do the job.

12/12 and it helps tremendously to have someone who can sit in the car and work the parking brake for you.

If you are decently strong, put the car in gear and e-brake it and break one or two loose. Put in neutral, spin the DS and do it again. I use a 3/8" ratchet.

Some folks loop a couple box end wrenches for leverage. Some use their leg on a breaker.

Be sure to apply threadlock to the bolts upon reinstallation.

Yup, 12pt 12mm.....Sometimes, depending on the driveshaft angle, a socket plus extension will not work. You will need a closed end wrench for it. Any 12mm combination wrench should work.

And definately put the threadlocker on the ds bolts, John (Zero Signal) found out what happens when you don't (clangity clang clang....)

I know I have never put thread-locker on mine.. No problems yet...

I don't remember putting tread locker on mine put I had an air gun to it.

Just heat em up a bit and they come off with ease.

I've seen many say they broke wrenches trying to bust em loose, lol.
