what the heck would cause this?

YES SIR!!
I am going to start ripping the rest of it apart today. The bad news is I DO have to sell the car once i get it fixed. Does anyone have any idea how much my car would be worth. The body has a few scratches on it, the tires are brand new, there are two dents that i know of, both of which are the size of a bb and i have to search to find them. The hood has some cracks in it right by the grill, My body shop said these could be fixed for like 50-100 bucks with a repaint. The clutch is also pretty much new (5k).

Basicly i have to sell it because i cant afford to pay for my school with it:(. Also, what else do i need besides headgaskets (felpro 9333pt1), intake gaskets (felpro 95952) and arp bolts?

I just meant break it down now that you have some of the other stuff torn off. Now that I re-read it, it does sound kind of bossy :D . The other parts are going to be personal choice on things that you may want to do while it's stripped, but if your getting rid of it, probably not much. You'll also need new exhaust manifold gaskets at least. There should be a kit that comes with all the gaskets needed for the job together. You will need to have the heads decked/checked. You should be able to get that done for $100 or so.

I've already got a new b'mer. I am not impressed with them. In fact I have a sticker on it "I'd rather be driving my ford!"

Now thats dedication........ I love it.... :nice: :nice: :nice: :nice: :nice:

Yeah, you got a bad HG, the gasket you get is pretty much gonna depend on whether you have aluminum or iron heads....... fel pro makes some good gaskets, for iron heads. they have two different part numbers for the good gaskets, on e for aluminum, and one for iron, this due to the different expansion rates of the metals.....

good head gaskets will cost around 35$ each.....

It's not that hard a job..... a day maybe.... If they mill or surface one head, i would have them do both exactly the same........just my .02, may save you from another problem soon....

I have the stock heads, and got the 9333pt1 gasket for it. Can i reuse my valve cover gasket? Also, what should i use to clean everything up? engine degreaser?

I'm assuming stock heads right? I didn't see any aftermarket ones in your sig. You can reuse your stock valve cover gaskets just fine. Lots of people do. When I switched to different valve covers with my new heads, I had to switch gaskets, not because I needed new ones, but the old ones wouldn't work with the different valve covers. I've had these valve covers off about 10 different times since my heads/cam swap and haven't had a problem yet.
