I tried a bunch of tire shines, and the best one I've used is by far is the new Armorall Extreme Tire Shine gel. The stuff just doesn't seem to fade off, even after diving in the rain and frequent car washing. I usually get about 3 weeks out of one application. I've applied it 4 times so far and have only used about 1/4 of the bottle.

Tire shines seem to make my tires loose traction more easily...anyone else experience this?

This is why I don't use them.

Exact same here. I love the stuff. It has an adjustable nozzle, too ..... so you can adjust how wide you want it to spray.

Black Magic Wet Tire... its not too bad, pretty cheap, lasts about a week. I wash my car about once a week anyway so its nothing to throw another coat on.

There's alot of good brands out there, the only one I've had horrible luck with was the Turtle Wax Tire shine (it was given to me). I tried a couple coats of that crap and none lasted more than a mere 16 hours. crapola
And that was in dry weather!

+1 Never use the stuff. Not cause of traction loss,I just dont like it.Shiny tires never really impressed me.I tried it once to see how my car would look with it,applied like it said, let it dry and went for a ride.Next day I spent 2 hours cleaning the crap off my rear bumper.

I just bought some of that stuff the other day but I havn't tried it out yet. Hopefully I'll get some free time this weekend to clean up my cars.

I use B&B like Danny does on some tires, and Endurance on others.

I'm a little afraid of stuff with some silicones - anyone have info on that new AA in the mustard bottle (Danny, have you heard anything?).
