I have 400ftlbs and 4:10s so hooking up on stock pirelli´s s sucks! I want a tire that fits my 17" stock rims that has awesome dry traction but still can drive on a wet freeway without caution so not quite a drag radial but close. What tires are you guys using and what sizes. I want to go wide as possible but not sure what my stock width is. I have seen conflicting reports and have not got a chance to read the size off the stock rim.

Honestly, you won't find anything great that will fit the 17x8" wheel. Eagle F1's are probably the best that will fit the stock wheel. You go up to a 17x9 or 18x9/18x10 then you have a lot better choices.

i switched to 18" wheels but im running 275 40 18's in a general exclaim UHP. . they stick pretty good for a cheap little tire.
