Ok guys and gals heres the deal. With my gov't stimulus check i am going to get 1 of 3 things that i want to get. I currently have a 2001 GT 5spd. with only mod so far being a Magnaflow Magnapack catback.

Option 1: O/R x-pipe and mil check engine light eliminators
Option 2: Steeda Tri-ax short throw shifter
Option 3: Caster/Camber plates and an alignment

So which option should i go with?

Now compined with option 3 i currently have a set of Eibachi Pro kit lowering springs still sittign in my trunk. And my neighbor who drives a 99 firebird formula currently has a set of 17x8.5 five spoke vette rims on his car said he would trade me his rims for my bullit rims. Now should i do this? But i dont know how the rims would look on the stang, and if i do this can i get another center cap for it so it wont have the vette symbol in the middle? Thanks a lot for everyones thoughts. This is a very hard decision on which i cant decide, because i want all 3.

1st off it seems as you are no longer able to buy MIL eliminators,So if staying legal is important you might wanna give that some thought, your only others options would be to buy a turner to turn them off or look on the net...there are write ups on making your own MIL's and looks pretty simpe to do to me.

2nd the tri ax is awesome, worth the money but....I think I would go for option 1 or 2 first.Maybe option 2 since you have the springs, but option one would be nice for some more sound.

Sorry cant help you with the rims, personally I dont like vette rims, and really wouldnt like them on a stang....but thats just me.

If you are gonna get an OR h-pipe id save more and get a tuner so 1: you can take advantage of the flow 2: turn off the MIL

Also IMO the MGW is by far the best shifter. Everyone that I know with a Stang thats driven mine absolutly loves the MGW. The Termi has a Tri Ax in it and is getting replaced with a MGW next month too :nice:

i think im going to go with option 1. but i thought that if i installed my springs that i would have to get caster/camber plates to properly align it. Or if i can find a cheap used o/r x-pipe i might just go with option 1 adn 2

depends on the independent vehicle. you should be alright without them running a pro kit. but there are a few that have needed them
