+1, dude i have been in your shoes a bunch of times, had an 86, 91, 94 and my 99 (which ill Never sell) and i can tell you its always better to start a project with something Clean, Never been wrecked!, original motor....it just sounds like that car would be a project mess instead of a good solid project...

i agree, my current project in my sig originally wasnt the car it is now, it was an 88 that was in a wreck, so i swapped everything into a 87 with a salvage title, car looks clean but i still need to do some stuff to make her look like i think she should, as long as the exterior and interior is clean i can deal with mechanical issues
