I've often wondered what a Mustang might sound like with a couple fart cans. It would look retarted and probably wouldnt sound good either but I'm curious. I'm sure some sideways leaning baggy panted poser thug has a fart canned V8 mustang out there someplace...

I did see a new edges Mustang GT that was totally Riced out, had the Silly Body Kit, Giant Ironing Board screwed on the trunk, Hideous Taillights, Stickers, and Dual Fart Cans! It was in a parking lot, I would love to have waited to hear it as I am sure it wasnt going to sound very good!

Also, whille we're on the topic... I saw a sn197 mustang with a fart pipe on it. A big coffee can muffler like what's on a civic or something. Also was a v6.
For shame.

Boss 351 do you work for hyundai? Pretty much everyone of your posts are about you praising your pos hyundai and other ricer cars in general. Why don't you post your **** in the ricer forums? I'm sure you'll get better reactions over there .

Also, you have to be a ******* idiot if you think a korean car is anywhere near an American or even a Japanese car in terms of quality, performance and reputation. The last time I checked the brands hyundai, kia, daewoo, and kia were the cheapest crappiest cars you could buy . BTW the tiburon also looks like something a chick or ghey person would drive .

Ummm are you retarded or just forgot to take your "special" meds? Or are you part of the honda-fan-boy club on here? Where in God's name did I say Korean > American? Oh wait I made fun of Honda again... maybe that's why your panties are all twisted.

Go back and read his posts...none of them praise rice. They all talk about how much he hates them and how his POS daily driver Hyundai can smoke them, even though they think they can take a Mustang.

Also, take a little ride over to your Hyundai dealer and check out what they are offering these days. Kia still sucks, Daewoo doesnt even sell cars here anymore, but Hyundai has come a LONG way. I'm not saying they have the very best cars but I have alot of respect for what they produce. Good looking, reliable cars that perform just as well as anything else out there. Quality of materials is the only thing I can think of that isnt quite up to the Japanese, but that's it. They definitely challenge the Americans when it comes to quality even if they havent quite matched the Japanese yet. Sorry for this sounding like a Hyundai infomercial but my mom has shopped Hyundai FIRST for her last two cars, and i was impressed with their product. Unfortunately they didn't have quite what she was looking for at the time. The Santa Fe she test drove was every bit as good as the Pontiac Torrent that she ended up getting.

Also someone mentioned a sweet black Tiburon that they would drive...there is one around here that fits that description and yeah...i'd definitely rock it.

The only thing I hate about my bottom-line cheap accent is with every little bolt or screw... it's as if they bought raw metal fasteners and didn't have them coated with zinc or anything... EVERY little bolt will rust, some have started. I am in the snow belt though. I do own a Mustang, this is my 3rd Fox Mustang, previous cars are: 89 notchback, 89 hatchback, 5.0L 91 Cougar, 00 ZX2 automatic, 97 ZX2 5-speed, 97 F150 XLT 4x4, 78 Bronco, 78 Bronco (parts truck), 84 Cougar with V6, 80 Firebird with 301... The hyundai is the FIRST non American car I've owned... It's not my weekend toy, I bought it to save money on gas and NOT TO USE MY MUSTANG everyday... I'm too scared of getting the Mustang dented with all stupid drivers on the road today. If I could afford something better, it would not be an Accent, I would LOVE to own a Subaru WRX as my daily. Or go back to my 4x4 truck which I really miss. I did sort of own a 95GT Mustang and a 91 or so Civic.. I bought these for cheap and sold them within a week or so... The civic was one of the worst little cars I've EVER tried, and I drove many different cars from working at the used car lot as a mechanic.

This is going to be different.
Most ricers say V8's suck.
And rear drive is out of date.
But i bet most wont buy it because they prolly wont be able to afford it.
Or like most ricers, buy a cheap, crap car and make is worse.

Personally....I'm not a big fan of Hyundai at all, and I wouldn't imagine they even come close to the quality of an american car, but at least I recognize what Boss351 is saying.....so you won't see me accusing him of presenting us with a Hyundai infomercial...

No they don't...

Hyundai is one of the leaders in quality now..they've passed the domestics. Big change from 5 years ago.

Boss351, you're no better than "them" if you race your 107hp Hyundai. Saying you beat ricers all the time is extremely hard to believe considering you have one of the slowest cars of the era.

BTW, a V6 Tibby with a cams and a good exhaust system is the best sounding V6 I've heard.

Really? Any clips?

My 3.8 certainly is no V8, but I can't see a 2.7L Tib sounding as good. I guess it's subjective, though.

For Comparison,

3.8L Exhaust Clip

But anyway, it'll be interesting to see the power the new V8 Tib ends up making and the price point it's at. Competition just means they'll have to make the Mustang better (we hope )

I couldn't believe it either. It sounded mean. Don't know what exhaust it had, but he had a Korean university professor fly out, custom grind some cams and tune it (first set of aftermarket cams on a Tiburon). I haven't seen the car much since..he used to be a regular at the street races. It probably ran a 13 on street tires...on motor.

Why does everybody say this is a bad thing and associate it with ricers? It's probably going to cost around $25-30000, not $1000 and come with free tribal decals.

Exactly, the typical ricer can't afford this car. Why do you think they modify civics and other crapboxes?? Because it's all they can afford! How else can you explain buying a $1500 car and soaking $3000 into it over the course of several years.

Still, if this new tibby comes out with over 300HP and 300 ft-lbs or torque, i would crap my pants. Instant 13 second car. By the time "ricers" get their hands on it, it will be 2010 and the Mustang will be electric with a 800 ft-lb capable motor

well I did beat two RICERS in my daily driver, that's what I was saying - ricers are SLOW! Slowest of 2002 Sure why not, but a 95 Neon with fart pipe is SLOWER and so is a stock 99 or so Civic.... So to get beat by a 17 second car is pretty lame... Which is why we call these guys "ricers"... It's not like I go around in my Mustang looking for street races and only picking on the 17-19 second ricers. Trust me most (if not all) of the rice in my town can't pull a 16 second timeslip to save their lives lol

I wonder if he's on NewTiburon.com? I know the fastest N/A guy on there is making ~210-220whp and is running a 14.1 or so, IIRC. In fact, he's selling the car, last time I checked. I guess I could see where that guy's from and see if it's the same guy.

If it's a red one and he goes by the name Mad Dog, that's the car. He claims to have the fastest NA worldwide..

Edit: It isn't. The local red one has 1hp more than the one on the forums, and it's still in Canada AFAIK. Still sounds amazing.

A base model Neon still has 132hp in a light car, and a Civic has at least 106. The Civic, maybe. Neon..auto?

I actually like the way the Tubuorn looks. And Boss never said his Hyundai is fast, you cant be fast with 107 (unless your car weighs 2 pounds)...he just said he was FASTER...but that still doesnt mean fast.

I think some people are a little too American. Yeah, pride in America is awesome and I think our country may need more pride than we do. But some people think that just because its not American it sucks, or it needs to be changed.
