Need new rear tires for the street. I can get the BFG drag G-Force 275/40 for $206.99 ea. mount and balanced.

Where can I get the Hoosier DOT drag tires, (love the looks ) m/b and price? Tire Rack? Do they have a store in Oregon? On line only?

Which tire would you recommend for the street?

Thanks,
Ben

I'd go with the Hoosiers or the M/T. I had real good luck with the Hoosiers.

I had a buddy who ran a set of Hoosier Quick Times on his 10-second T-Bird that worked really well. Can't say I ever saw him run them on the street though?

I've got a set of Mickey Thompson E/T Street Radials that work really well, but I'd only recommend then on clean dry pavement.

...but that's the same recommendation I've give for any Drag Radial. Just because they're street legal, doesn't mean they're street worthy.

I also run a 275/40/17 MT and love them! I have heard good things about the BFG DR but have no personal experience w/ them.

Ive always been surprised at how well Nitto's hook after properly baked. But Hoosiers are way sticky after they are smoked and in my experience much better than the BFG's, I run Quick Pro's on my BB SS Chevelle.
