It's a 4" dual wall with a cheese grater looking louvers inside which do not have a packing material that can possibly degrade or blow out, and do there part to reduce drone and limit the popping sound. I got mine for 276 through LastCallRacing (one of our venders). I think they are about 300 right now. I picked mine up from the creater/fabricater in Temecula, CA and he is a good guy who will warranty the set for life if anything goes wrong. He told me he has never had to replace any of the 3K he's made.
Also keep in mind of the sound your choice will make with future mods. Many owners start out with changing the AB, get used to it, and then want louder. A change of the mid pipe or headers then produces an unwelcome drone, rasp, or just too much sound. These noticably louder with the stock midpipe and intake. I personally think any more would be excess as the sound can be easily modulated with keeping your foot out of high rpm. A x pipe is the common midpipe with a straight through muff. H pipe is common for chambered muff's like the flowmaster and macs.
Consider the SSS terminator AB as well. Well priced at 299.

On my '07 GT Vert, I only removed the mufflers and replaced them with 18" x 4" chrome tips with a pipe bent to match up to the factory pipe. The first trial was with smaller tips and the car sounded yuk.... We then went to longer and larger tips. The sound got deeper and more throaty and it is loud. What we found was the 4" tip gave it a throaty sound and the 18" length brought it to a deep tone. We originally had the pipe extending into the tip about half way. This was not good. We now have the pipe only 1" into chrome tip. The rest of the system is stock. People cannot believe that what I did produces the sound it does plus it was only $85.
