i am thinking about, or about to get a o/r mac h pipe for my 02 GT with Flowmaster 40 series welded in mufflers and was wondering if anyone, before i go buy the H pipe, can give me a good idea on how much louder my car is going to be with the o/r v.s the factory mid pipe, and otherwise factory exhaust. I want it louder but i'm not sure how much louder, is is a screaming in your face difference or just enough for people to turn their heads when you go by type louder.

Thanks

Chris

well....any o/r mid pipe will be loud. people will know you are coming down a street. you'll love the loud rumble, but your neighbors may not. I would say take hoe loud your car is now and times that by 4. If you want something noticeable but more mellow shell out some extra cash and get a high flow catted mid pipe.

if you go catless, i would not recomend chambered mufflers, just dont sound too hot to me. just my .02 though. i love being catless,if you can, go for it. i have the bassani midpipe with removable cats and i just love that no cat sound. Smells good too lol, the off road x gives a nice ripping sound and the h will give more rumble. Its all about preference.

The tone is badazz(cat-less)...but it STINKS!

I bought Full Stainless Steel Bassani exhaust Catted and it is loud enough. Any non catted car has a deeper and louder tone you would have to hear them in person to decide. I live in delaware with strict emissions so I went with the catted other wise I probobly would make it as loud as possible!
