ANd about the comment on the noisiness of the vortech just get the SQ version its much quieter than ANY roots blower out there.
That is not true.
I agree with Hoppy. Saleen has a much better design with the heat exchanger - waterpump - and reservoir.
The Kennebell has a better intake.
A whipple 1.6l vs. the KB 1.7l is not significant a difference.
Here are a couple of other considerations.
A couple of things come to mind when thinking about a PDB vs Centri.
1) A simple belt change is just that. Simple on a PDB. Centri's are much more of a PITA.
2) Impeller speed - On a centri they are turning at a very high RPM which can lead to bearing failure or in my case with the Procharger, seal leakage. A PDB's rotors do not turn at the same RPM's as a centri so bearing life is greater. They do flex but that is designed into the blower. Pulley swaps are easier on the PDB, you don't have to remove the head unit.
3) Oil change - for a PDB very easy - Vortech (very easy) - Procharger (not that easy).
4) Power Centri's offer amazing power especially when you want to step it up, TS's though are catching them very quickly.
5) Packaging - PDB's look factory IMHO and normally will come with a new aluminum intake. I personally don't like the way a centri hangs off the front of the motor.
