Wheel and Tire for Track Advice

Well my Nitto 315s hooked like sh$t Friday night. My burn outs from long to short to barely did nothing for traction. I Spun like crazy, when I took off the tires they were smoked down hard. I guess I burned out too long and killed them.

Anyone running solid axle on 99+ cobra with their cobra rotor and brakes instead of the smaller GT rotor and brakes that can recommend a good wheel size, and brand, and a good slick for track use only.

I actually think the issue is my rear suspension my coil overs are way to strong causing this lack of traction, since I just re-used my cobra Koni Shock + Coil Over setup on my solid axle. I will be drop that spring rate, but do want to try slicks.

Can I fit a 15 inch wheel on my setup --> Cobra Rotor and Cobra brakes on a GT axle.
