Would 40mm offset work? Is there a list of recommended offset for wheels? Sorry for the dumb questions ha

Ok I know this is an old thread, but I need some help in have a 1987 foxbody and I am in the process of a 5 lug conversion from lmr.com and I am using the conversion front rotors so I can keep my factory brakes and what I am wondering is a 15x4 wheel with 1.75 backspacing will fit without any issues or do I have to get a wheel with 2.5 backspacing
