Finally going to put some new wheels/tires on the Cobra. I'm planning on running Nitto 555's on whichever wheels I get. I'm looking at these:

In 17X9 front and 17X10's rear

Or these:

I like the Saleens a little better as far as looks go, but they are 17's. Course that means less rotating weight as well. Plus I like that I don't see them quite as often. However I do like Bullitts a lot, and the 18's will look nice too. I was planning on getting the Bullitts till I saw the Saleens. I likely already have my mind made up, but I'm curious to see the consensus.

Both look good! I would prefer 18's. Fr500s look nice as well.

LarsD, I have to agree with slayerripkdc about the FR-500's. However to keep this strictly a comparison between the 2 rims you posted I will have to go with the Saleen rims. It's a bit different and less common than black Bullits with a chromed lip.

Uck, those Saleens would look like garbage on a new edge IMO

I actually like the saleens. 1991notchbacklx had them on one of his sn95's and they actually looked pretty good. Maybe you can get someone to do a chop?

The satin look is what got my attention about them. Kinda reminds me of an 80's Porsche.

Meh. I have those now. I don't like them on 99+ cars. I think they look awesome on 94-98 cars. Go figure.

Lars do you have the fox and the new edge? If so I'd get the saleens and paint the bullitts you already have. Then you have BOTH!

The Bullitts on my 91 are off an 01 Bullitt. So they are just 17X8's. They don't have the ultra cool dish that the knockoffs do.

I would pick satin 03's over the other choices if I could find a set for a reasonable price.
