Wheel problem

I have chrome Bullit wheels (stock size) with 245/45/ZR17's on them. I was at Discount Tire yesterday to have my routine rotate & balance when we discovered that one wheel has a flat spot on the inside requireing over 9 oz's of weight to attempt to balance it. We never could get it balanced.

So here's the deal. Does one repair a bent wheel or just replace it? If I replace it, I would love to get Deep Dish chrome Bullit's for the rear. What kind of $$ am I out? What size tire can you put on the DDB's on a '03 without rubbing or brake issue's? BTW, I left the bad wheel in the rear to minimize vibration.

Question is will the rear deep dish match your fronts that you already have close enough? If they were painted, I'de say no. But with chrome, hum...not sure.

That should be covered under warranty. I had a blemish on my old 'Stang's wheels, and they replaced it. (I'm assuming yours are factory)

Factory warranty on a bent wheel? Are you sure?

Ford will just blame the bent wheel on you somehow, I would go buy some 10.5 bullits...they are supposed to match the colour on 00 or 01 ups better, ford changed the colour or something.

If it wasn't a road hazzard, it's covered. But if you have the road hazzard package deal warranty thing, you're good to go.
