wheel quality

It seems most people complaints about replicas are for the chrome chipping.

Anyone have a non-chrome replica that is bad?

I have a friend who got his M3's Stock wheels chromed cost him a pretty penny and they still chipped in a year!

I had mine for 18 months before they were put on my car. I got the wheels the same time I got the car and I wanted to put wheels, hood, wing and cobra bumper on all at the same time, for a more dramatic change all at once.

I can probably get you a fresh set of wheels, covered under manufacturers warranty if you can give me a call. There is a warranty on these rims finish, so you arent SOL. We get our wheels from Wheel Replicas and they do back their products.

Give me a call. 610 251 2397 x305. Ill get you setup.

I guess just like everything else that you might buy, sometimes you get lemons. I did some more searching last night and found some sweet wheels, the only problem was they cost between $500-900 each  I can't imagine spending that kind of money on just wheels. I guess I am in the wrong tax bracket, lol.

Anyway, thanks for all the suggestions

I've got a set of 18x9 AFS Mach 1 Replica rims. I picked mine up off of eBay, brand new set of 4 for $350. I've had them on for about 25K miles now, and with no issues at all. There are several finishes available, including chrome, black or red chrome, machined with painted inserts (black or gray) Mine are the machined finish with gray painted inserts. The paint is almost an exact match for 2001-2002 Mineral Gray.

I bought some original Mach 1 take offs. That's an option too if you are looking for Bullitts, Mach 1's or Cobras.
