HaveII said:I picked up a used set of Weld's for the back (directly from a Fox body ). They are 15 x 8 with 4.5" of backspacing. The tires are 245/60/R15. No rubbing. There is more usable space on the outsides than on the insides (IMO 4" of backspacing would be optimal), but it looks like I should be able to squeeze some 255's on them. I am going with:
15x8's rear with 265/50's
15x7's front with 225/50's
Dunlop GT Qualifier tires, and the wheels will be whatever I can get cheapest because I've got so many other things to do to the car.
Have you driven the car much since the install?
The 4.5" backspacing sounds perfect for the back.
What's the best backspacing for the front?
