Wheels and Tires again

I'm asking this same question on the SVT forum as well. Can I run a 10.5 Cobra replica wheel on both ends of my 98 Cobra? The wheel mfgs. say no, but it looks like they should work. I would also like to use 285 X 40 X 17 tires on them on all 4 corners. Any input would be helpful.

too big up front... WAY TOO BIG!

285's up front are perty damn big... i rubbed pretty good on 275's

You rub 275s? What wheels, the 18' Saleen replicas? I've never had a problem, but my ride height is stock, and I am using the stock 17" wheels that came on my 98 Cobra.

Depends what size rim. Im guessing 17s. 285 is too wide in front. I would't say it will work
