When a MAF goes bad...?

When the Mass Air Meter goes bad, the car should revert to pre-programmed a/f tables in the PCM and run like speed-density setup right? Should the car die completely when you unplug the harness from the MAF?

Well as far as unplugging the MAF, you should be able to. It should run, not well btu should run. you can also unplug the IAC and run it. Atleast on my car =/ Dont know what to tell u
