Right now I have a densecharger TB to MAF tube, and then a K&N drop in (thats pretty beat up) in a stock airbox that I cut away. The airbox and filter bit looks a bit getto, and the filter has seen better days.

I'm looking for a filter and whatever adapter I need to mount it directly to the MAF. Mustang92 had this kind of set-up and I think it may have been from UPR...?

Please dont say get a Steeda instake, or the front part of the densecharger etc... I like the set-up I have but it looks a mess. I'd just like a nice big filter on the MAF there.

Anyone?

I know this isn't the sales forum, but I have the exact setup you are looking for. It is a Pro-M Filter adapter and a new K&N Cone filter w/ chrome end cap. This fits perfectly in the place of the stock airbox and looks much better too. Both items have about 300mi. on them and includes everything you will need to install. The filter adapter was 35.00 and the filter was 60.00. I will sell both of these to you for 50.00+shipping. If you are interested please let me know.

INSTANGATOR, can you give me the model number for your K&N filter. I had a cold air intake and I cut the cold air part off of it so that I can just put a cone filter on it. I'm just using this crappy cone filter than came with the intake, i wanna get a much bigger K&N one. Lemme know man, thanks

I think the filter number is RC3690. The filter has a 3.5" mounting flange and is 9" long. You can go to K&N's wensite and look under universal filters to find a filter that will fit your application the best.

I got the Pro-M adapter from PerformancePartsMall.com for 35.00 shipped. You will need a filter with a 3.5" opening to mount to it. I got my K&N from a local auto parts store. You will also need to make sure the filter is the correct length, width, etc. so it will fit properly. This will cost you over 100.00 new and you can buy mine stuff that is in new condition for half the price. I honestly don't care if I sell it or not, but I think it would be the easiest, cheapest, and fastest way for you to get the exact parts you are looking for.
