Where did you put your battery kill switch??

Looking for pictures, or just general info on where you put yours and why. I just drilled the hole for mine last night, and installed it so it will fit behind the lisc. plate. the only thing i didnt consider was while the lisc plate is on, wil i be able to reach underneath it even after i space it out, to turn the thing on and off.. thanks in advance for any input.

I put mine right through my license plate, I have what we call a DARE plate here in Pa, there are no numbers to the right side of the plate, just a DARE emblem, I put my switch in there, it has not been a problem in over a year of being there.

I wish i still had ohio plates, theres a ton of room on my old ones, but on my louisiana plates i cant do it. also, i want to keep it kinda hidden. oh, and thakns by the way in that other thread about the alternator cutoff thing too..

I have my kill switch behind my license plate and I just spaced it out with some pipe from home depot. I can reach the switch with the plate easily. I do not remember the measurements of the pipes but I could measure for you if you like.

in for answers so i can see where i should put mine....so u guys run a wire all the way from under the seat to the outside?

I ran mine from where the lisc plate is, over to the drivers side. then curved it to go under the plastic where the rear seat speaker grille is... then ran it down to the floor, and all the way up to the front, cut a small hole in the steering column firewall boot, went under the brake booster, over the shock tower, and into the solinoid <---(why cant i ever spell that damn word)

That would be cool if you could, im trying to picture it, but i cant really. do you have to reach over or under the plate to hit the switch? mine is towards the bottom, with the switch pointing down, i think i have to go under the plate, but i dont know if ill have enough space to

I used threaded rod and the wingnuts as you can see. Just a quick loosen and I can flip the switch without having to pull the plate completely.

Mine is in the same spot as the pics above. Only thing different is i cut off the right end side of the plate but still left the numbers and tags and just moved the plate to the left so the plate sits flush with the body and have easy access to the switch.

No, you've got it right, mine is wrong. I run the switch the other way too, makes it easier to flip the switch too the other way.
