Ok, it's a Performance Products 65mm throttle body for my '93. Where in the heck is the idle screw?? Trust me, I have felt and looked ALL OVER that TB and nothing. The directions show a pic of it...but I don't see it.

Does anyone else have a Performance Product TB and can post a pic of where the idle screw is????

Thanks - driving me crazy.

Look at the linkage that the throttle cable hooks too, at the end of the linkage will be a blade or stop that comes in contact with a boss coming of the side of the TB. the blade/stop is also hitting the the end of the idle screw, the screw itself is threaded through that boss, now look on the other side of the boss and you should see a small allen head blot head that is the idle screw.

Look at the pic I have provided of your TB, the throttle stop is resting up against that boss or ear I was just writing about that little bolt head on the opppostite side is teh adjustment screw. I hope this helps because this 1 of those it's easier to show than expalin things and I have never had to put it in words before :D

Make sure when you adjust the idle, you unplug the idle air controller first.

Set your idle a bit on the low side, just above the point where it barely runs, then reset the computer, plug the iac back in and start up.

Idle is electronically controlled, so all yuo want to do with the idle set screw is set min idle so the iac is barely open at idle. That way idle is 100% computer controlled
