I am trying to get my limping seatbelts off my car. I prefer to use an aftermarket 4 point. I understand that there are 2 kinds, legal and off road use. Does anybody know about the legal kind and where to get em. The info will be appreciated.

HPM Motorsports has them but you won't be legal at the dragstrip and You can't use lap belts on a streetcar for street driving.

Agreed. They would need DOT approval and I am not aware of any.

Are we saying that there are no aftermarket street legal 4 or more point seat belts?? That does not sound right to me!

For starters, you shouldnt be wearing one on the street, unless you have a roll bar. If you dont and your car rolls over, you have no mobility whatsoever.....

I believe Schroth (?) makes a legal one. It has DOT approval and everything.

I think schroth used to make a DOT legal 5 point, but they no longer make them.
