I am changing out all my ignition to Mallory. I have a big coil, spark box and a comp 9000 dizzy. I just can't seem to find a place on my 95 5.0 to put the spark box without coming up with some master craftsman jerry rigged plate. Everything I craft seems to hit the hood (97 Cobra hood) Can some show pics of their engines to show placement of the spark box whether it's MSD or Mallory? Please dont show fox bodies cause that won't help. Only SN-95 body style.

I apologize for the mess, but my Mustang is gonna be down for a few more weeks while I'm in the process of a Novi2000 install, new injectors, and an Anderson PMS, plus a few other changes. But you get the idea as far as where to mount it. I just took the left wheel and inner fender out, pulled the washer solvent tank out and drilled and mounted my holes. Then I ran all my grounds to a common point inside the fender. If you ask me it really cleaned up the engine compartment a lot.

have you considered moving your battery to the trunk? It has a few advantages plus it REALLY frees up a ton of room. It's pretty easy to do too. I had the same problem you do - simply no where to mount the MSD box without going Jesse James all over the place and I don't really want to mess with that. Don't get me wrong I like the nice fancy fully polished everything cars, but lets get real folks I drive my car and run the piss out of it I don't have time to super polish everything all the time. That's just me, but to each his own, and as long as its a Mustang I like it pretty much no matter what!
