It was not showing up for me using the dark blue viewer for the fourm. It came up now though.

I don't think bends in and of themselves are a restriction. There may be air flow turbulence issues but, again I can't see where 2 45* bends would be worse than 1 90* bend. Intuitively one would think just the opposite.

Considering I alrdeay bought a Accufab 75MM TB Im pretty much committed to the fox set up. Considering the way the C&L Pipe is set up theres no way Im getting the amount of air flow w/ the less amount of restriction as I can be. After the MAF the piping moves up and then curves again, its pretty mssed up actually

I completely agree with you Richard. I still don't understand why the fox setup is different but we've seen the differences in dyno sheets. I'm just telling you what we've seen.

the restriction in the sn95 setup is that bend after the tb. it kills velocity with the elbow being there. that is why the fox setup has better throttle response. on a pretty much stock engine you probably wont notice the difference but as stouter combos come in then the difference will be noticeable. Also, I have read where bends before the mass air Will dramatically affect its airflow reading accuracy. From my research, you want the filter right in front of the MAF for best accuracy. I also noticed when i did my modifications to the CAI and tb setup I currently run, the idle and driveability both increased. just food for thought. Thats why those bbk and ebay cai are no good cause there is a 90 degree bend before the MAF. you will also notice that the JLT and Powerpipe, even the c&l pipes all have no bends before the maf.

Fair enough. It is my understanding there are too many controlled and uncontrollable variables that will account for small hp differences in the dyno readings from pull to pull and day to day.

different weather conditions can be a factor when I go again but I will post the results anyway just for the heck of it.

I went to lowes and home depot and neither one had a rubber 45* coupler in a 4" diameter so looks like Im just going to get the anderson power pipe. I'll give them a call and see if the one in the fender well will work on a 94/95 or not

I bought the CAI pipe that does not go into the fender well. I looked at home depot and Lowes and they dont have the correct couplers to make my own CAI work. It would have been to much of a hassle It was just much more easy to buy one that I know would work. Plus all in all it only cost me $40 b/c I had a friend pay me back some money that was owed to me and I brought back some bottles to the redemption center

Actually you can get grind some of the fender out, and have no turns on the pipe or the couplers, less turbulance, as soon as the weather gets better i'll post pics.

You using a 75 mm tb ? in that case your better with the 3" pipe, since 75mm = 2.95"

Heres a pic of mine, the fender has not been grinded yet, but I know I can get it better than this.
