i know a guy who has 2 brand new sets of PRO50 gears. one is 3.73's and the other is 3.90's. either way i'm going to get a set off him.

which gears would be better for me?

i dont do alot of highway, but enough not to want the 4.10's

i'm leaning towards 3.90's because its a happy medium between 3.73's and 4.10's

any opinions on Pro50 gears by the way?

mods are in the sig plus i'm getting a crane 2031 cam and looking for a blower the following year.

thanks

With a blower, you should be thinking 3.55 or 3.73.

And get new Ford gears. There is no reason to use anything different, and the benefits of the Ford gears far far outweigh and few bucks you might save.

Forget about 3.90's, they are completely meaningless unless you are building a bracket racer and your setup happens to call for that precise gearing. Otherwise, there is sooooooooo little difference between a 3.90 gear and either way (3.73 or 4.10). You would have a hard enough time telling the difference between 3.73 and 4.10 in SOTP feel. 3.90's are a red herring.
