Which rear do you like best?

I think #1 looks the best. I like how the pipes fill out the valance but they don't stick out. So what the heck pipes are those on the first one? They don't stick out and they fill it out.

Those look like Corsa tips to me, but it's kind of hard to tell. I agree though, I like how they sit flush like that, best out of those 3 IMO. Here's a pic for reference...

I personally like the Vista Blue's setup over mine just due to the exhaust tips. I'm hoping the Flow's will dress mine up a bit more. (I have the White with Vista Blue Stripes). They all have the C/S rear bumper. I should have taken that pic in better light though.

apex, how much was your valance? I agree on the tips. The pic is dark but I guess both valances are the same???

What tips come stock on a CS? Does anyone know?

The Vista Blue CS here has the Hooker Aerochamber muffers(very close to he same looking as the Flowmasters). I believe the CS comes standard with the FRPP GTAs, the same as the Shelby GT. 1965Coupe posted a pic of them over on the Shelby GT thread. I love the Flowmaster since the muffler body is black and blends in with the car. But Vinnie, if big tips are not your thing, try sticking with the stock mufflers, but putting on an O/R H pipe(I've posted a few vids of mine setup that way). It really wakes up the sound plus you gain about 8-10 HP.

I'm still confused. On vista CS, I understand those are different mufflers, but what are the tips?

I hate how the shelby looks, looks ricey with those dumb things sticking out far like that. The CS above is perfect, I want that setup with stock mufflers.

Yes, they are all the same valance. Mine just looks darker and not as defined due to lighting. Believe it or not, I purchased the C/S rear valance for only $150 from fordparts.com from a guy named Ken. They are a Ford Parts Wholesaler. Basically a Ford Dealership out of Washington that sells their parts way less than their competition. Last I heard though, that price doubled due to the Shelby GT using the same valance.

I bought it in the nick of time.
The stock tips on the C/S are rolled polished tips. Just not sure if they are FRPP parts. Pretty sure they are though.

I was going to say they look just like my flowmasters, hard to tell 100% from that angle but I think I see part of the muffler and it's silver while the Flows are black so the tips stand out. That being said they fit the same way on my car, don't stick out and fill out the holes very nicely.

apex, does the whole bumper have to come off or be replace, or just the bottom section and how much did it cost to get put on?

The CS bumper is an all new piece that replaces the stock GT bumper. 3DCarbon makes a CS look-a-like rear bumper. Or you can get their lower rear skirt which gives nearly the same appearance(hideous IMO)(pictured below).

Check someplace like www.mrbodykit.com. They have a ton of stuff.

The Hookers are black like Flowmasters, too, which I think makes a huge difference in "hiding" them away behind the bumper, especially with the black insert. They didn't come with tips so mine have 3.5" Pypes that I think fill the cut-out perfectly.

CS's come with the same mufflers as a regular GT but they have the 2.5" rolled chrome, angled tips that completely get lost in the opening. They're the same ones you can buy as a dealer accessory for like $50.

I know my cousin took a picture of the car on the lift with one Hooker and one stock muff on to show how the Hookers are hidden and the tips fill the gap so I'll have to try to get that from him.
