it was an option in 94 but they had a problem with the tops staying on at highspeeds. But im told that the hardtops will work with any vert stang.

I need someone to shrink the file size. I have a 1994 Mustang Magazine showing a pic and talking about the optional convertible gt roof. ADD creilly084 on AIM or c_reilly84@hotmail.com so you can post the pic. I also have the pic of the Opal Frost car.

They must have had a few that left the Factory, or, some dealers started buying the tops and selling them with the cars. I had an Officer in my squadron when I was stationed in Germany that had a 95' GT Vert with removeable hard top. When you graduate from the AF Acadamy you can get a super low interest loan and he went and got that car with his loan. He ended up trading in for a BMW vert two years later. Wish I would have got it from him! His was that forest green color.

And I heard they will only fit the cars they were made for. Something about the A piller being specially reinforced. Anyone have the real scoop on this or where to find it?

I really dont think it matter if it came stock with the car if it fits and it looks thats all that matter to me IMO. i would have to also agree with everyone and say jump on that car before someone else finds it first

Another vote for option #1 here, don't know about keeping it stock, but hell of a deal one way or the other.
