while i should be studying for finals... *pics*

im messing around and editing photos from earlier this week. Here's some pics of my car and my buddy's mach:

dont try and blur out the background like that... it hurts muh eyes... let the camera do that when you take the pics, but otherwise they look nice.

yes i think i may have over done it with the blur LOL, my camera is a canon powershot SD800, im not quite sure how to make the camera not focus on the background.. seems as though whenever i take the pictures everything is in focus. is it possible to do so with a digital camera like mine?

in the 3rd pic i just lessened the blur effect, that's one of my favorites so far!

what he's talking about "blurring" the background is the aperature of the lense exposure - which you can only do w/ a standard camera or if it is digital a digital SLR which is about $900. By reducing the aperature by a few f-stops you put objects in the forground into further or "real" focus while the background is left unfocused
