Greetings,
I have a '00 'Vert GT.
I bought 4 new tires about 3 months ago, and since then, I have noised a high pitch whistling noise coming from the back (sounds like it's in the center) when I am on the highway. When I slow down to about 35-40, the sound disappears.
The tires I replaced were the orginal Goodyear Eagle 17 Z's.
I replaced them with the Sumitomo 17 Z's. (all 4 tires new)
Could that tire difference be making the whisting noise? Or maybe it's something different?
I never noticed that noise before the tires were replaced. The new tires were balanced, and the front end was aligned.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
StangVert00
