White smoke

HI, i drive a 91 5.0 lx conv, I was goin down the freeway and white smoke starts pouring outta my car, i pulled over opened the hood and it smoked a little more but than it stopped i was pretty close to my house about 3 miles so I drove home that was last night, today i went to look at it and there is oil all over the bottom of the car, over the exhaust system, just everywhere I'm thinkin its a blown head gasket or rear main seal if that is the case how much is that gonna cost to fix and do you guys thinks thats the problem?

Sounds like a rear main seal being that there was oil all over.

ok thanks for the info I'll have to get that checked out tomorrow. A friend of mine said it can be some type of oil seal that needs to be replaced.

wooT!!! time to pull the tranny and flywheel...

Make sure it's not something simple like a blown power steering hose or something.
