OK I KNOW it a matter of opinion, but for those of us pretty new to the modular 2V scene, it would be nice to see who has not only done their homework, but has put it to the test. I'm not talking about "just" performance or "just" flash, but a well rounded combination. There has to be someone out there that not only has a badass looking ride, but more importantly one that IS as fast as it looks. To me speed is more important than looks, but looks is all you get when you're not at the track. And I'm not talking about bicycle tires up front and good for only a straight line either. If you think stickers make your car look "bad", you need not apply. I surf and read about Mustang crap a good part of the day, every day. I love it. Just do a search in the automotive parts section on EBay for "Mustang" and you get 26k hits! I'd love to see what my car is capable of. I want to know who has the baddest 2V out there, so I know where to set my sights. Thanks.

2004 Saleen S-281E.

Power, style, and handling. A well rounded combo. However, a ridiculously high price.

check out modularpowerhouse, they make some of the baddest stangs around. 600rwhp is pretty common over there.
btw-mine is not completely done but I think it is pretty cool.

Looks great! I know most when it gets to that point where you've done it all, they put in an 03+ Cobra motor. I want to see the cars where it's just before they get to that point! You can get mad power out of a 2V. Great posts!

Why would you put in an 03 Cobra motor when you can make 03 Cobra power with the 2v?!?

The block on these cars should be able to handle an ass load of hp. The internals on the other hand....

This is who built my engine: Tim Eichorn @ Mustang Performance Racing Inc. Phone (561)767 6867 Email: mprracing@myacc.net

I pulled the beast out and installed it myself. I do all my own work I just wasn't willing to have a trial an error episode with that much money in engine parts and my time LOL. I trusted Tim since he has been building engines and working on stangs for 14 years and I haven't

Right now it is at 475hp at the wheels with 6 pounds of boost It's tuned down until I install the intercooler and reinstall the smaller pulley for more boost. I ran a 12.5 on Kuhmo street tires a couple weeks ago in this heat inflicted humid summer down here in florida . My 60 ft times were 2.03 and my MPH was 109. Overall extremely happy with the stang

Exactly. Mine is actually quite weak compared to most stangs there.

I have never seen the setup that i am aiming for... so i presume i wil be the first... unless someone beats me there while i am getting the money... but I'd personally think the best looking is a black and silver with the roush front, saleen back with 281 wing, 03 cobras for looks. under the hood have the 324 BB stroker block, valve covers, anondized metalic pullies, MPH2.5 heads, VT stage 1 cams, P51, demolet CAI, and the NOS direct port system.

put it on a system with the EVO watts, trilink, HR race springs, bilsteins, and a full bassani exhaust for the sound....

thats MY perfection of power and play... but i have never seen it, so i am building it as money allows. I'll prolly get hit by a semi before i get it done.... but what i think is perfect has not been done (at least that i have seen)... but white stang looks nice and has power... I just want to go the pure motor route.. then some gas for when someone actually beats you... like a blown z06 (damn neighbor has a 2003 with a leingenfelter....)

I'm planning to get a new forged shortblock, heads with cams, and hopefully a kb 2.2.. 2v's with that combo are just nasty.

KB 2.2L 2V actually puts down better #s than a KB 2.2 4V.

I’ll take a shot in the dark and say I’ve got the baddest 2V Modular MN12, Mercury Cougar on the board.
