who knows? 03 cobra engine/tranny in an 86 GT?

There was a guy local with an '85 coupe with all '01 drivetrain in it....it's a pretty awesome swap if you ask me.

Check the page where he welds the firewall section into the fox. There is a bearing there...if you don't have that peice of the firewall....you cannot do this swap!!! This is for the steering, and without that plate and bearing the car cannot be driven...I had to weld that in my car....and it was a lot of work.....and I FORGOT to take PICTURES to post on here....

Do a search in 5.0L Talk. Look for "Project 81 Hack Job Part I, II and III. That is my 2V swap...which is the same as that kids 03 Cobra swap that you have a link to.
