Who makes 2 1/2" chrome tips??

Im putting a cobra rear bumper on over the winter and I think 3" look too big. But Im going with a MAC cat-back and all they offer now is 3". I doubt Flowmaster LX tips would mate up to a MAC cat-back. The 2 1/2" just looks cleaner and sounds just as mean IMO.

The MAC kit needs a MAC tail pipe since they use a ball and socket connection, this allows for a lot of adjustment.

Why not go with the 3" tips? You'll need to lower the factory rubber hanger a little to make the tips hang correctly on the Cobra valance since it is inbetween a GT and LX.

I like the 3" on the cobra, but they have to be a true 3" tailpipe, I think when you have just the tips it looks to cheasy. Also, Mac's chrome is not the best at all. Id rather have a stainless steel tip that will not corode and stuff. But your call. I think you might be able to get the chrome ones from mac that are 2.5"

If you keep wax on the MAC pipes it will last a long time. Just keep them cleaned and WAXED.

i've got some used dynomax 2.5" chrome tips I'll sell you cheap. It's just the tips though, not over the axle, they're pretty expensive new from what I understand.

I love my stainless tips. I would NEVER do chrome.

My vote would be for a stainless steel cat-back. The tips ARE cheesy but can be easily obtained in any store selling fart can ehaust systems for rice burners. *grin*

A big part of the reason I didnt want to do MAC was because the finish doesnt last long...but now that you say that what kind of wax would I use?

Anyone have pics of cobra rears? I did a search for "cobra rear" "cobra bumper" and "rear cobra" but nothing came up and I know Ive seen posts on here before for it?

I have Bassani 3' tips!! They look and sound awsome!! But even though its Bassani chrome(awsome finish) they "are" a b@tch to keep clean,,ss is much easier!!
