Who Makes a Good Clutch? Mine's Slippin

I have a 96 GT with a 4.6 DOHC motor in it and i believe my old GT clutch is going out. Their is a problem though, I had to use the Mark VIII Crank and it's only a 6 bolt crank. Can i Get the 11 inch cobra sized clutches, and if so who makes the best one for Street/Strip? Thanks

I heard CenterForce's DualFriction is the only way to go... www.centerforce.com Check it out. I heard it's really heavy duty and can take anything

I had a centerforce dual friction on my blown LX making 435 RWHP and it was great,pedal effort was just like factory.

I have the King Cobra Clutch for about a year and a half. It is ok but the pedal effort is twice as much as a stocker. It literally pushes me back in my seat. My lumbar air bag has a hole in it now. It does grip like crazy though but if you can stand how hard it is on your left foot.

i have one and the clutch effort is about the same as stock but it grips like a mutha

I did a search on this.. and it seems alot of people are having problems with the 'new' king cobra clutches that are being made, not the same quality as the old ones.

I've decided to go with the centerforce.. the cheapest place I found was at Jegs. Does anyone know if they're reliable?
