Why bother with teh regular bolt-ons?

Seriously, most people spend thousands on mufflers, midpipes, pulleys, throttle body, cams, etc., for what, a grand total of 25 rwhp if you are lucky? Might as well save your money and plop out teh $4k for a supercharger. Sure, it won't perform optimally until you get a few bolt ons, but teh 100+ rwhp gain will leave 99% of cars in teh dust. Am I missing something?

nope... I have I/H/MP/E on my car and am building the rear end up in about a month and getting gears. After that it will be clutch time, and then supercharger time. I agree with what you so until then my car will just be slow :) Although, I use to have a 150shot on it... but it got removed a LONG time ago!!!

yea....lots of people arent able to plop over that kinda money, then another 400 for a dyno tune, 400 for an xcal or 200 for a chip, if the kit doesnt come with an MAF you will probably need one of those which will be another 100, and you may start slipping your stock clutch, so you will need another one of those for 4-500 after install. so yeh its a ton of money to plop over at once.

why not buy a used cobra.......why is the sky blue......maybe some people dont care.........why did you buy the tv you have when you could have saved for a plasma.......whats up with your pc.....could save for a better one.........why work on your house, could have bought one that is all set........why wendys when you could have had a porter house...........   ...its all reletive to the person.........imo

I bought a supercharger first thing on my Mustang I had before my newest one. I don't have that one anymore because I rushed out to spend 3 grand and then did not have any money left for the things I needed most. I had to rebuild and sell my other car because I rushed into it. I would like to do it all over again but not until I have at least 6 thousand to dump into it. Even then I would probably opt for a Cobra.

If you only get 25rwhp out of all that, you have NO idea what you are doing when modding the car or your tuner is clueless. Full exhaust, TB and a chip or plenum is an easy 30+. I put down 257 with full exhaust, TB and a Autologic chip.

100rwph gain with a blower??? WTF, more like 200rwhp on most cars with the bolt ons and around 150 with no bolt ons. The KBs are making 400+ on complete stock cars.

Man please do some better research before making threads like this.

I was being conservative. But thanks for making my point: a minimum 120 MORE horses out of a supercharger than bolt-ons. For not that much more money.

I didnt make your point at all? Your point is so wrong that there isnt even a point.

People like to stay N/A because it is a lot more safer than FI. That is just one reason people use.

That is probably the highest I've seen for boltons, but I've only had my stang two months. How much you spend on all that?
I have a VERY simple build with all off the shelf parts. Im making over 300rwhp. Again, please do more research.

Then explain. People have said I am wrong, and I am willing to accept that. What do I know, my stang is bone-stock except for rims.
