Why NOT the TFS intake ????????

I'm getting gears and an intake next month. A lot of people don't consider the TFS intake as an option when shopping for a idel-5500 intake. Why? It seems to make similar numbers across the rpm range as it's competition, it's less expensive, and looks good under the hood.

Does the TFS kill low-end torque with E7's or something? Dyno sheets???? This will be a H/C/I car, but for now it's going to be on a stock long block. Any insight would be helpful here.

I heard from a couple guys that the TFS intake (idle to 5500 one anyway) doesn't perform as well as other similar intakes. I don't know how much truth there is to that though. They couldn't tell me how it didn't perform as well either.

tfs has a few intakes: street heat, track heat, track heat R, and a box intake. they may have more too.

i have had the street heat intake for 1.5 years (since i bought the car).

i have been very happy with it, but i have to get rid of it now because my kenne-bell does not fit the lower intake.

so i am selling it (for $250+shipping), email me if you are interested in it ([email protected])
