my friend (9eightGTEE) is selling his car to buy a 90 LX hatch with a 347....the motor is a summit block, scat steel crank, forged pistons and rods, afr 185 heads, lunati cam, edelbrock performer II intake...etc etc.....and when the previous ownder to this owner dynoed it, it only made 322 rwhp, and 352 rwtq at larocca's performance or a dynojet.....this is WITH a dyno tune and chip.....i dont understand why hes not making over 400hp to the wheels at least.....he is running kinda rich, and he was gettin a slight ping on 94 octane in the 100+ degree weather, so i said why dont u back down on the timing a little, so you can also back off on the fuel pressure a little, and he was like something isnt right here......its been bothering me and its not even my car.......

hey mike.... you really gotta get all the info straight before posting,,, ill fill in the stuff you neglected

she made 352 at the wheels and nearly 400lbs of torque got the dyno graphs to prove it. if you do the math thats over 400 horses at the crank.

there are still restrictions on the car,,, probably could use 205's, and a larger cam profile, and a different intake, or have this one ported or something. But afterall she is a street car, not a race car.

running on the stock tune (for the 302) she is making 328 and 382.

i could change the timing and lower the fuel pressure if i had a timing light. however right now she's running fine and i dont want to go messing with stuff, id rather have a shop tune her since they know alot more then i do

sounds like the numbers are spot on from what i've seen(i'm no where near an expert) some people just think hp grows on trees. with that kind of torque it is no doubt an enjoyable street car.

might be,, might not be, thats really for a tuner to determine,, and larocca tuned it fine with 24# injectors... it is a sh1tty tune, but they didnt recomend larger injectors

correct...i think after he gets the car we'll go to laroccas and pick their brains for a while and see what they think abvout the injectors...if they can lean it out a lil bit, and make it work, more power too em.......im just curious to see what happens....im also curious why you dont have the larocca chip in there now.......it was in the glove box when we came to see the car.....
