Been seeing people drop $500 on Fox Intake Conversions. What Pros does it have over, say, a stock 95 intake with throttle body and fenderwell CAI?

Looks better, gets rid of the extreme turn in the elbow, better throttle body choices, etc. It really shouldn't cost anywhere near $500 to do it, if you don't mind hunting up parts yourself.
Better throttle body choices??? We have all the same stuff man, just ours is cheaper cause we don't have to buy the egr spacer! Really, the elbow is the only reason to get rid of it....cause obviously we can use any intake the foxs can...and saying the elbow takes away from power is BS. stock v stock though, the fox intake is better because the runners
Until I see actual proof (i.e....immediately before and after) on the dyno that is increases power...the only advantages that I see are that it gives you a little cleaner engine bay with the ability to use an Accufab TB and not mess with the elbows. A blower car might have some more benefits too.

I agree Accufab TB are nice but the BBK's will do just fine for me. On a power adder car the gains have been dyno proven. X2C gained 40rwhp and 2psi on a blown 95gt (they advertise that). As for the TB's you being able to run a Accufab should be the main point, your hanging throttle will go away, and yes you have more TB size options..up to 90mm or whatever. It also cleans the bay up.
Not bad for 500 bucks in my book....gain hp/tq and boost, get the dreaded 94-95 hanging throttle fixed, and clean your bay up at the same time.

you might not have that 45 degree bend like the 94-95 intake on the 93 style but you have a 90 degree bend in the cold air intake.
dont get me wrong, i like the cleaner look and the ability to run different valve covers but i dont think i'd be doing that swap
I picked up 10 ponies on the dyno...most of you know I had a Tmoss ported lower than did the Fox swap...before and after numbers here....I was really expecting more...dont we all... 
but 10 is what it was for me...i'm pretty muched warmed over OEM stuff....did hit 302/302 though...

Its mostly for looks and ease of working around things for me...plus i like to mod stuff and its got a nice look to it...I just dont like the elbow adapters.. they look "tacked" on to me....tried that too...
I did mine for less than 500.00...BUT...theres something to be said about having the whole kit/parts in one shot...makes for an easy a/noon swap...no hunting involved...
Fox swap lets you run 3 different uppers to if you stay Ford...only one I haven't done is the GT40 Tubular...But I'm hunting for one if someones comes across one...

If you have a blower on a SN95..especially a Vortech..the conversion will help tremendously. The Vortech tubeing is like 2 1/4" and has some serious bends, where with this kit it's a true 3" all the way up to the TB, with one smooth bend.
As for the N/A crowd...wouldn't know.

That X2C 500$ kit is aimed towards supercharged cars...if you wanted one N/A it wouldn't have the discharge tube I'm talking about which would bring the price down prob 100-150$.

Run #11 was an all motor run with a CAI, SN95 elbow adapter elbow and a BBK 70mm TB on a Holly Systemax intake after tuning A/F and timing.
Run #12 and 13 were nitrous runs with the SN stuff.
Run #14 was an all motor run with a C&L 75mm intake tube, Fox style BBK 70mm TB and the same Holley Systemax intake before any tuning.

If you look at it on multiple planes the angle isn't better. Look how quick the throttle body adapter angles up towards the intake in a few inches, the fox conversion lessens that.
