Factory FI cars like SRT4s, turbo Supras, and 03/04 Cobras are generally a lot easier and/or cheaper to mod. Unfortunately, 99-04 2V GTs start off with the extra weight and lack of FI disadvantages versus the SRT4.

I don't know where you guys are seeing all these 400 whp SRT4s and saying they are slow. Also 24 psi is running the stock turbo, if it was, way past its efficiency. My friend has a 450 whp SRT4 running 21 psi and it ran 11.97 @121 on slicks. Thats hauling balls in a front wheel drive car.

I would never drive one but you need to give respect where respect is due.

i had a black srt-4 before i got my stang. they respond very well to bolt ons. 13.9 @ 100 stock. all i had was a front mount, exhaust, and turned up the boost a couple psi and was running 13.1 @ 106 on the stock rubber. it is just a neon but they can be damn fast for cheap. dsm's are the same way.

and my friend has a silver srt with 420 whp on the stock motor and he is running 11.5 @ ???mph all day
