Why?

Hey, I just sold my 90 GT (AOD) for and 88 (5 spd) that is much quicker by the way , and I'm just curious why people convert to MAF. I know people do it, but I just don't understand why. And any other mod suggestions are very, very welcome cuz this is my child now and she will be fast. The 88 has headers and and an h-pipe with flowmaster catbacks. Thanks.

Speed density doesn't respond well to mods like: cylinder heads, Intake manifolds, and camshafts. The mass air cars don't have a problem with it. (although speed density is faster stock for stock)

yup speed density doesnt like engine mods very much. its always good to convert first if u are gonna go mod crazy.
