will 03/04 cobra motor fit??

what mods can be done then to make the original stuff handle better than the mustangII's? and the last post about the motors im sorry but not following it, were you sayng the 4.6's like more boost and would be better than the pushrod 5.o's?

any motor CAN like boost... 03 cobra stuff has a forged bottom end and really allows for the increased power. For what you will spend on a 03 cobra motor and wiring, you can build a 5.0 based motor to hold the same if not more boost than a 4.6

This is the problem:


The dohc motor is so dang wide that it just doesnt fit well in the engine bay. With a MII it will fit no problem. By notching the towers, you will NEVER get the valve covers off without pulling the motor. Headers will be a *(*#$$ too.

Its all about preferences... if you want to do something different, do an 03 cobra motor. Its going to cost a lot more than you think and its going to take 3 times longer than you think.
