does running 8 psi boost with a blower lower reliabilty on a stock shortblock? Would this lower the total mileage I could get out of the motor? Thanks.
Also, Is 1300 a good deal for an S-trim kit with 1000 miles on it?

Anytime you mod an engine especially one with high mileage you reduce the longevity of the motor. So the answer is yes but to what extent? That depends on a lot of variables like, how well has the motor been maintained? How hard do you drive it? Things like that. I have 140k on my 92 and run a completely stock block, heads and cam but have a 9lb procharger w/ a 3 core intercooler. I don't run the car too hard very often, it's mostly for fun. I am soon going to a 14 lb pully because I want more out of the car and this is an easy way to get more HP. So with that increase in HP also comes an increased possibility of hurting the motor. As for the price, couldn't tell you. Good luck and I hope this was helpful for you.
