will b303 cam work alright with afr 165 heads

I need to know if the b303 in my moter will let the heads breath enough or if it will hold me back from making the power I should.

It will work and yes, there will be some untapped power if you use that cam.

Use 1.7 rockers to get a little extra umph out of that cam.

Yea it will be fine. I would go for the 1.72 rockers, everything little bit helps If you can pick something else up, i would, there are better cams out there.

Also, when i had a b cam, it was retarded 2 degrees, worked real well that way for me. Times in sig.

i think it shoudl pull just fine with a B and 1.7s

that exhaust side on the afr flows so much the single pattern might do a little better on the afrs than it does on the gt40 series.... just a thought. what are you gonna degree it at?

Well the b cam is already in the car and the car has high miles. I think I will just leave it in for now and wait until I get a new shortblock to change it.
